Enough

It is enough for me by day

to breathe the same air with him,

to feel the warmth of his embrace.

Enough that over us by night

looking at the same moon

under the same sky.

I do not ask nor expect

to have the world at my fingertips.

it is enough for me to have his love, heart,

his whole being, the good and the bad.

It is enough to have him.
